Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition of releasing agent for copper casting excellent in heat resistance and releasing effect by incorporating a prescribed organo- polysiloxane as the main component in the composition of releasing agent.
SOLUTION: Organo-polysiloxane formulated by the formula is incorporated as the principal component in the composition of the releasing agent for copper casting. In the formula, R indicates methyl group or phenyl group, R' indicates alkyl radical, aralkyl radical, or aryl group, R2 indicates R or R1, (x) is an integer of 10-1000, (y) is an integer of 10-1000, and x+y is 10-2000. The composition can be easily manufactured by blending organo-polysiloxane shown by the formula, the emulsifier, water, and arbitrary components, and emulsifying the mixture using an emulsifying machine. The organo-polysiloxane is excellent in the heat resistance, and easily left on a die, and capable of preventing contact or deposition of metals, and has an effect to improve the wattability to the die. A cast product excellent in skin quality can be manufactured.
