To provide a composition for scalp and hair, excellent in softening, effect on the scalp, having synergistically heightened effects for promoting blood flow, and further excellent in safety.
This composition for the scalp and the hair contains a promoter of the blood flow, and one or more kinds of adenosines selected from adenosine, adenosine 5'-phosphate and salts of the adenosine 5'-phosphate. The promoter of the blood flow is one or more kinds selected from the group of promoters of the blood flow, consisting of nicotinic acids, minoxidils, cepharanthine, vitamin Es, γ-oryzanol, an alkoxycarbonylpyridine N-oxide, carpronium chloride and acetylcholines. The content of the promoter of the blood flow is 0.001-5.0 wt.% based on the whole amount of the composition, and the content of the adenosines is 0.0001-10.0 wt.% expressed in terms of solid based on the whole amount of the composition for the scalp and the hair.
