Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for dermatopathy or cosmetics by comprising hydrous lipid lamella phase containing a ribosome which is a kind of retinoid or carotenoid. SOLUTION: This composition contains as active ingredient retinoid (e.g.; vitamin A acetate), excluding tretinoin, or carotenoid (e.g.; β-carotene) in amount of 10<-6> -10<-3> wt.%, preferably 5-10<-6> -10<-4> wt.% and is composed of hydrous lamella phase containing the ingredient e.g. ribosome. This composition may contain erythromycin, clindamycin, metronidazole, other antibiotics, antiseptics, etc., as an auxiliary active agents. The toxic effect of the active chemical, especially irritant action on skin in application to affected part is mitigated while enhancing the effectiveness. This composition is useful for treatment of a wide variety of acne, acantho keratodermiam psoriasis and mitigation or removal of skin senile change and pigmented cutaneous macula, promotion of forming cicatricial tissue, recovery of infinitesimal angio and hair growing, etc.
