PURPOSE: To provide a compsn. for solid fuel consisting of a mixt. of combustible org. solvent with a specified solidifying agent, which has good storage stability, is easy to handle and improves safety of combustible liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The compsn. is prepd. by mixing (A) a compd. having ethylenically unsatd. bond in a side chain or polymer thereof (e.g. diethylene glycol diacrylate) with (B) a combustible org. solvent having solvency power on (A) (e.g. toluene or methanol) which is used in an amount 0.5W2 times as much as (A). The compsn. has good storage stability, is easy to handle and improves safety of combustible liquid. It has a wide application as substitute for kerosene for household, business and industrial uses and as portable solid fuel for camping, cooking and emergency uses.
