PURPOSE: To obtain a composition system capable of rapidly setting and correcting the same format information in a plurality of pages without occurrence of error.

CONSTITUTION: A format setting means 11 sets format information in a required page. A page number input means 12 inputs the page number (a reference page number) of the required page and the page numbers (referrer page numbers) of pages in which the same format information as that of the page of the page number is to be set. A format copying means 13 copies the format information of the page of the reference page number already set by the format setting means to the respective pages of the referrer page numbers inputted from the page number input means, thereby setting the same format information.
