Abstract:
To provide such a composition for texturing processing to a glass substrate for magnetic disk that it allows the texturing processing to be carried out to the glass substrate for magnetic disk.
A fluoride is added to the composition containing an abrasive grain and a solvent for texturing processing to the glass substrate for magnetic disk. As the fluoride, an ammonium fluoride, a potassium fluoride, a hydrogen fluoride ammonium, and a sodium fluoride are used. Furthermore, the solvent is made to contain the fluoride and a soluble substance.
