PURPOSE: To obtain the tissue culture composition synergistically enhancing the cell multiplication effect of normal melanocyte, furthermore enhancing the cell multiplication effect of the normal melanocyte by adding an addition component, and further stably maintaining the cell multiplication force of the normal melanocyte.

CONSTITUTION: The composition for the tissue culture is produced by adding insulin, hydrocortisone and a phorbol ester to one or more basic media selected from 199, MCDB 153, HAM F10, HAM F12 and DMEM basic media. The composition may further be mixed with one or both of bFGF and a placenta extract, or furthermore mixed with one or both of transferrin and triiodothyronine.
