Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treatment bath without using chromium and to provide a surface-treated metal sheet excellent in the adhesion of a film, a naked corrosion resistance after processing, and the adhesion to a coating material.
SOLUTION: This compsn, is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. org. resin having 5wt.% or higher hydroxyl monomer units with 2-60 pts.wt phosphoric acid and 0.015-1.5g-ion of at least one kind of ion selected from among Mg++, Al++, Ba++, Ca++, Sr++, Fe++, Nb+++, Nb++++, Y+++, and Zn++ and if necessary further with one of various colloids.
