Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition comprising a prepolymer having specific isocyanate group ends, a polyol and water as a foaming agent, having excellent suitability to environment, pot life and workability and capable of a producing molding having excellent brittleness-inhibiting property and impact resistance.
SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a prepolymer having isocyanate group ends obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate (A1) with a long chain polyol having 400-10,000 molecular weight and 2-5 functional group number (A2) or a mixture of A2 and a short chain polyl having 62-400 molecular weight (A3) in an equivalent ratio of (isocyanate group/active hydrogen group) of 2.4-25.0, (B) a polyol composed of A2 or A3 and (C) water as a foaming agent, and further (D) additives such as a catalyst, a foam stabilizer, a filler or a stabilizer, as necessary.
