Abstract:

To provide a composition for an ultraviolet absorption member and an ultraviolet absorption member using the same, the composition having excellent heat resistance and being able to sufficiently shield ultraviolet rays in a 380 to 400 nm region which has heretofore been difficult to shield.

Provided is a composition for an ultraviolet absorption member, comprising at least one kind of metal complex comprising a heterocyclic ring of a specific structure; a silane compound having at least one kind of amino group, represented by the formula (2); and a matrix material.
