Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for a wheel balance weight, including a base resin containing a styrene-based resin and an ion-crosslinked elastic body, stainless steel (SUS) powder and a filler, and a balancing weight. The balancing weight according to the present invention does not cause environmental pollution due to heavy metals, can suppress rust generation, can have excellent adhesion to a wheel surface, excellent extrudability and bend resistance, and can suppress interfacial peeling and lifting phenomena. In addition, the composition for a wheel balance weight according to the present invention can be applied to a roll-type automatic cutting process, thereby enabling a precision attachment process in units of 1 g, thereby reducing the possibility of errors due to a manual process. Also, the composition can be applied equally to a wheel and any type of vehicles using the wheel.
