Abstract:
To provide compositions comprising autologous or allogeneic non-bulbar dermal sheath (NBDS) cells usable for treatment and repair of skin, including skin injuries, and for prevention of skin aging, and for various cosmetic and aesthetic applications.SOLUTION: A composition comprises isolated non-bulbar dermal sheath (NBDS) cells as an active ingredient. The non-bulbar dermal sheath (NBDS) cells can be obtained, e.g., by: cleaving hair to remove the hair follicle bulb; isolating non-bulbar dermal sheath tissue; and cultivating the isolated non-bulbar dermal sheath tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
