To provide a new compound useful in the organic synthesis chemistry.
The compound is represented by formula (I) [wherein A and B are each hydrogen, a halogen, lithium, a monovalent group represented by -MgX (wherein X is chlorine, bromine or iodine) or a silyl group and R1 to R8 are each a 1-20C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, provided that R1 to R8 are simultaneously neither methyl groups nor ethyl groups].
