Abstract:

To provide a compound having a branched alkyl chain, a method for manufacturing the same, and the use of the same within a photoelectric device.

The branched alkyl group is used as a solubilizing group for manufacturing an organic conjugated molecule (e.g., organic conjugated polymer); the methylene group interval number of the formed alkyl side chain and principal chain is m>1; since effects on π-π stacking of the principal chain of the alkyl chain are effectively alleviated, the solubility of the organic conjugated molecule is guaranteed while the mobility of the carrier thereof is being greatly improved, and this compound is appropriate as organic semiconductor materials within photoelectric devices such as organic field effect transistors, organic solar cells, and organic light emitting diodes.
