Title:
COMPOUND FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT AND LUMINESCENT MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001011031
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a novel compound useful as compound for organic electroluminescence(EL) elements having a red color-based luminescent color, a high luminescent brightness and a long emission lifetime.

This compound for organic EL elements is a compound expressed by formula I [Ar3 to Ar10 are each a (substituted) single ring, a (substituted) multiply fused ring, a (substituted) aromatic heterocycle; Ar3 with Ar4, Ar5, with Ar6, Ar7 with Ar8, Ar9 with Ar10 may mutually bond to be integrated], e.g. the compound expressed by formula II. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a halogenated perylene with an aromatic diamine compound in the presence of a catalyst such as copper and the like at 200°C for a long time. An organic luminescent material for EL elements is obtained by combining the compound of formula I with a compound expressed by formula III [Pe is a perylene residue; Ar1 and Ar2 are each a (substituted) single ring, a (substituted) multiply fused ring, a (substituted) aromatic heterocycle; a is 2-12; but the compounds expressed by formula I are excepted].
