Abstract:

To provide a fine dielectric particles having a uniform particle diameter and particle characteristics, especially a precursor material capable of manufacturing a barium titanate particle, and its manufacturing method.

The compound oxide particles which are the precursor material of barium titanate particles substantially consist of 75-25 mol% barium titanate phase and 25-75 mol% titanium dioxide phase. The compound oxide particles are prepared by heat-treating a mixed powder consisting of 100 mol% titanium dioxide particles and 25-75 mol% barium compound particles at 500C or above and lower than 900C.
