Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by dispensing with preparing tools for each process by performing processing by using the same tool for another process even if the process is different.
SOLUTION: A first indexing mechanism 30 for a tool main spindle 14 is provided with a first fixing side coupling 23 fixed to a tool main spindle stock 12, a first rotating side coupling 24 fixed to the tool main spindle 14, and a first connecting coupling 25 provided on the tool spindle stock 12 side and capable of being meshed with the first fixing side coupling 23 and the rotating side coupling 24. A second indexing mechanism for the tool main spindle stock 12 is provided with a second fixing side coupling fixed to a tool post, a second rotating side coupling fixed to the main spindle stock 12, and a second connecting coupling provided on the tool post side and capable of being meshed with the second fixing coupling and the rotating side coupling.
