Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure stable and perfect seal performance by providing restoration against compressive force of a restitutive elastic member and providing cohesive power to a stress relief member, smaller than the restoring power of the restitutive elastic member.
CONSTITUTION: When a fixture member 1 is to be fixed on an outer wall 3 by means of a fixation means 2, a compound seal 10 is disposed in between the fixture member l and the outer wall 3. In this compound sealant 10, a restitutive elastic member 1 and a stress relief member 12 are compounded integrally. The restitutive elastic member 11 has restoring power against the compressive force. The stress relief member 12 absorbs external stress due to its flow against the external stress, and has cohesive power smaller than restoring power of the restitutive elastic member 11. Accordingly, without depending on the skill of a worker, stable and perfect seal performance is secured. And besides, there is no defect in external appearance, including dirt.
