To obtain a composition excellent in static and dynamic heat resistance and useful for e.g. electric wire coating by combining a lead salt of a higher fatty acid with an alkaline earth metal salt of a higher fatty acid and a zinc salt of a higher fatty acid in a specified ratio and combining the obtained combination with hydrotalcite or an alkali aluminum compound hydroxide salt and a phenolic antioxidant in a specified ratio.
100 pts.wt. higher fatty acid composition containing a lead salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g lead stearate), an alkaline earth metal salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g. barium stearate) and a zinc salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g. zinc laurate) in a weight ratio of (14-54):(40-83):(05-20) is mixed with 10-100 pts.wt. hydrotalcite (e.g. aluminum carbonate magnesium hydroxide) or a alkali aluminum compound hydroxide salt (e.g. lithium aluminum hydroxide carbonate) and 1-10 pts.wt. phenolic antioxidant (e.g. bisphenol A).
