PURPOSE: To produce an inexpensive, recyclable and disposable fabric by using as warps and wefts compound threads comprising thin carrier threads to which a web mass is interlaced and adhered.
CONSTITUTION: This fabric which has less warp-weft cross points than those in conventional fabrics and in which a web mass is placed in spaces between the warps and the wefts is formed by feeding and superposing the web mass 3 on plural carrier threads 2 disposed in parallel to each other, binding the carrier threads 2 to the web mass 3 by spraying a water-soluble adhesive and/or by an electrostatic method, pressing the laminate to form the strip 4, cutting the strip 4 between the carrier threads 2 to form compound threads, and then weaving the compound threads as warps and wefts. The web mass 3 contains the fibrils of a carded material used for producing the carrier threads 2 and fibrils such as excessively small fibrils by-produced on the production of the above fibrils and having been disposed.
