A compound type electric coupler includes: a slip ring part composed of a conductive brush (2) supported by a brush holder (3) provided at a first base material and a conductive ring (1) provided at a second base material, which are held so as to slide each other; and a capacitive coupling coupler which is included in a hole part at the inner side of the ring of the slip ring part, the capacitive coupling coupler where a pair of electrodes (5) is provided at the first base material or the second base material so as to be spaced away from each other. A shield member (7), which is made of a conductive member and is grounded, is disposed between the slip ring part and the capacitive coupling coupler. The above object is achieved by providing the compound type electric coupler.
