Abstract:
To provide: a practical and mild method for 18F labeling of molecules like peptides, oligonucleotides or small molecule targeting agents; and radiofluorination methods for obtaining radiotracer based on receptor specific peptides for detection of tumors.
The present invention provides: novel radiolabeled compounds prepared by using nucleophilic aromatic 18F-fluorination reaction to include positron-emitting isotopes, especially 18F atoms, in receptor specific peptides for tumors or the like; use of the compounds for diagnostic imaging; and use as medicaments, as diagnostic imaging agents, and most specifically as imaging agents for the Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
