Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed air dehumidifying apparatus not requiring the alteration of the set value in the control means of a control valve prescribing the supply of dehumidifying purge air even if the use pressure of compressed dehumidified air by a user is altered.
SOLUTION: In a compressed air dehumidifying apparatus using a membrane type air dryer 10 housing hollow yarn membrane bundles formed by bundling a large number of hollow fiber membranes 12,12... comprising a steam permeable membrane, the control valve 46 provided to a dehumidifying purge air supply piping 20 supplying dehumidifying purge air to the membrane type air dryer 10, a supply piping 24 supplying steam mixed compressed air to the membrane type air dryer 10, a differential pressure detecting means 56 detecting the pressure difference with an emitting piping 28 to which compressed dehumidified air is emitted from the membrane type air dryer 10 and a control means controlling the opening degree of the control valve 46 corresponding to the pressure difference detected by the difference pressure detecting means 56 are provided.
