Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression apparatus of a packaging machine for improving production efficiency.SOLUTION: This compression apparatus 1 comprises first compression means 3 for aligning and compressing a plurality of absorbent articles 2, second compression means 4 arranged so as to make a pair with the first compression means 3 and aligning and compressing the plurality of absorbent articles 2 and reversal means 5 for integrally reversing these first compression means 3 and second compression means 4. Thus, for example, a compression process of compressing each of the laminated articles 2 performed by the first compression means 3, a carrying-out process of carrying out the compressed articles from the first compression means 3 after compression and a carrying-in process of carrying in the articles to the second compression means 4, can be substantially simultaneously performed in parallel, so that a packaging time of each of the absorbent articles 2 can be largely shortened more than usual, and productivity can be improved as a result.
