To provide a compression apparatus for snow capable of satisfactorily performing compression of snow.

The compression apparatus 1 for snow is provided with: an apparatus body 2; a taking-in means 4 of taking in snow inside the apparatus body 2; a compression means 5 of compressing snow taken in by the taking-in means in the apparatus body. Since the compression means 5 is provided with almost a pair of screw conveyers 21L, 21R which are arranged in parallel with each other, the taking-in means 4 takes in snow inside the apparatus body 2, and, while the taken-in snow is fed to the carrying direction by a pair of oppositely rotating screw conveyers 21L, 21R, the snow can be compressed at a uniform density.
