Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit the smooth return from the small capacity operation state to the large capacity operation state by specifying the position of formation of the opened port on the crank chamber side of a bypass release hole switch communicates between the crank chamber and the suction chamber of the captioned compressor.

CONSTITUTION: In the captioned compression mechanism, an annular drive plate 20 is installed in front of a lug plate 18 axially laid onto a driving shaft 4, and a supporting bracket 20a is connected to the lug plate 18 by engaging a guide pin 24 into an elliptical hole 23 on the installation arm 18c of the lug plate 18. A piston 16 fitted into a plurality of cylinder bores 14 is connected through a connecting rod 22 onto a wabble plate 21 supported onto the drive plate 20. In this case, the opened port on the crank chamber side of a bypass release hole 28 connecting a crank chamber 17 and a suction chamber 6 is opened onto the installation arm 18c. The position of the opening is set at the position which is closed by a supporting plate 20a when the tilt angle of the wabble plate 22 is large.
