Abstract:
To provide a compression ignition type engine capable of reducing emission to actualize good operation.SOLUTION: The compression ignition type engine includes a first fuel supply part 19 for supplying naphtha, a second fuel supply part 18 for supplying diesel fuel, an intake air valve part 71 for adjusting an opening/closing timing for an intake valve 21, and a control part 10 for controlling these. In a low-load region having a low load, at least the naphtha is supplied and intake delayed closing control is performed so that an air-fuel ratio is in a range of 14.5-15.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
