Abstract:
The engine operates with a piston (5 which is connected to a lever (7) terminating in a ring at each end. The centre of this lever is connected to a crank which produces rotary motion. The piston small end pin (31) is of smaller diameter than the ring which contains it. As the pin moves in a straight line parallel to the centre line of the cylinder, the lever ring moves in an arc about the pivot point of the lever. The lever sweeps an internal arc of the pin and allows improved lubrication to take place.
