Title:
COMPRESSION MECHANISM FOR SCROLL COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3286455
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable high compression ratio operation without increasing number of windings of a spiral scroll and eliminate valve noises of a discharge valve in a compression mechanism of a scroll compressor wherein a fixed scroll and a movable scroll are meshed with each other to form the scroll spiral part.
CONSTITUTION: In a compression mechanism, an outer periphery of a spiral part of a movable scroll 4 is cylindrically formed, and a cylinder 2 having a sliding vane 8 is arranged around the movable scroll 4 such that axes of the cylinder 2 and the movable scroll 4 are eccentrically formed so as to make an inner diameter of the cylinder 2 approach an outer diameter of the movable scroll 4 while remaining a minute gap. Low pressure gas is suctioned from the outside of the cylinder 2, the outer diameter of the movable scroll 4, and the sliding vane. The boosted gas is compressed again by the scroll spiral part. The gas is compressed again by the scroll spiral part for performing high- compression ratio operation.
