To provide a compression storage bag that is harmless to the environment, suppresses expansion of a stored article, resulting from air entering as time passes, and stably compresses and stores an article for a long time.
The compression storage bag 12 includes an opening 13 for inserting an article or taking it out and an air suction opening 14, is made of a synthetic resin as its main material, and compresses and stores an article by sucking air in the bag from the suction opening 14. The compression storage bag 12 includes a gas absorption device 5 in a space capable of communicating with the inside of the compression storage bag 12, the device 5 containing ZSM-5 type zeolite replaced with copper. The ZSM-5 type zeolite replaced with copper composes a gas-absorbing device so as to be stored without being deteriorated until the use of the bag. This exhibits the ability to absorb gases present in air, such as nitrogen, oxygen, moisture, and carbon dioxide. The device 5 absorbs and removes air entering it as time passes, thereby maintaining a decompressed state. This suppresses expansion of the stored article, resulting from entry of air, and stores the article in a low volume for a long time.
