The compressor includes: a housing that is constituted of metal members divided into at least two and in which each of the metal members mutually joins to form a space inside; a seal member 23 that is arranged in a joint where each of the metal members mutually joins to define the space as a sealed space S; a height adjusting member 5 that has a surface including sacrificial protection effect against a material of the housing and lies between the joints positioned opposite to the sealed space of the seal member 23; and a compression mechanism that is accommodated inside the housing and compresses fluid in the sealed space S.
