Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor in which assembling of a gear case is simplified and provide a method for assembling the gear case.SOLUTION: A turbo-compressor 1 includes: a gear case 29 having a bull-gear rotating shaft 21 and a bull gear 23, a lower half part 41 of the gear case and an upper half part 42 of the gear case divided to each other with a dividing plane D being interfaced and storing the bull gear 23; a shaft end cover 50 fixed to the gear case 29 to close an opening part 45 formed at a position on an extended line of the bull gear rotating shaft 21 and oppositely facing against a shaft end surface 21a of the bull gear rotating shaft 21; and sensors 55, 57 fixed to the shaft end cover 50. The shaft end cover 50 is divided into several components including a cover lower half part 51 holding the sensors 55, 57, the cover lower half 51 is fixed to the lower half part 41 of the gear case, and the entire unit is positioned at the lower half part 41 of the gear case than the dividing plane D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
