To provide a compressor capable of excellently feeding chips having large bulkiness such as aluminum and capable of continuously forming a compressed object.

In this compressor 1, bulky chips are fed to a compressing chamber 16 with feed blades 10 of a screw 8, and the bulky chips in the compressing chamber are compressed with a piston of a hydraulic cylinder 17 to form a compressed object. The screw is formed into a spiral shape in the screw shaft part so that the diameter of the backward side feed blades around the shaft part 9 becomes large and the diameter of the forward side feed blades becomes gradually small in the feed direction from the backward side to the forward side of the chips and moreover an interval between the small diameter side blades becomes gradually small compared with that between the large diameter side blades.
