Abstract:
To provide an improved compressor and a cryogenic refrigerator.SOLUTION: A compressor 12 comprises: a first compression chamber 22a and a second compression chamber 22b for compressing gas by supplying working fluid to a first working fluid chamber 28a and a second working fluid chamber 28b, respectively; a working fluid pump 46; a rotation driving source 48 for rotating a rotor 46c of the working fluid pump 46 in a constant direction; and a directional control valve 50 for alternately switching between a first state and a second state. The directional control valve 50 comprises: an inlet port 52 connected to a pump discharge port 46a; an outlet port 54 connected to a pump suction port 46b; a first port 56 connected to the first working fluid chamber 28a; and a second port 58 connected to the second working fluid chamber 28b. In the first state, the inlet port 52 and the first port 56 are connected, and the second port 58 and the outlet port 54 are connected. In the second state, the inlet port 52 and the second port 58 are connected, and the first port 56 and the outlet port 54 are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
