Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress surging with a simple configuration, and to expand a flow rate range in which a compressor is operated.SOLUTION: A compressor 10 includes: an impeller 12 rotating around an axis, compressing fluid flowing in from an axial direction through an introduction pipe passage 18, and allowing the fluid to flow in a radial direction; a throttle member 14 having a flow passage area smaller than a flow passage area of an inlet 36B to the impeller 12 in the introduction pipe passage 18; and a driving mechanism 16 changing a position of the throttle member 14 between the inlet 36B and a retreat position away from the introduction pipe passage 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
