Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a passage through which compression fluid stably flows in accordance with wear of a piston ring.SOLUTION: A compressor for compressing fluid includes: a cylinder; a piston ring 9 having an abutment part; and a piston to which the piston ring 9 is mounted and which reciprocates inside the cylinder. The piston ring 9 seals inside the cylinder against fluid by a lip 21 coming into contact with a lip receiving part 22 at the abutment part. A groove 30 to be a fluid passage from the inside to the outside of the cylinder is provided in the lip 21 or lip receiving part 22, at a contact surface of the lip 21 and the lip receiving part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
