Abstract:

To provide a compressor torque estimation device capable of estimating compressor torque with a little error to actual torque even when compressor control signal is suddenly and excessively changed.

A variable displacement compressor can vary delivery displacement based on energization dutycycle Dt of a control valve CV commanded to a drivel circuit 71 by an air conditioner ECU 81. The air conditioner ECU 81 computes torque Tr(n) necessary for driving the variable displacement compressor based on energization dutycycle Dt to be commanded to the drive circuit 71. The air conditioner ECU 81 corrects the calculated torque Tr(n) by using a primary delay method and defines the same as a hypothesis torque Tr'(n) and estimates compressor torque Tr' from the hypothesis torque Tr'(n).
