To provide a compressor having a variable displacement swash plate capable of stabilizing displacement control by reducing a bending amount of a shaft and capable of reducing the weight of the compressor.
The compressor 1 with the variable displacement swash plate has the shaft 8 penetrating a crank chamber 7 and supported by a housing 5 rotatably, the swash plate 9 having an aperture to permit the insertion of the shaft 8 and rotating synchronously with the rotation of the shaft 8 while it is arranged in the crank chamber 7, and a piston 12 fastened to the peripheral edge of the swash plate 9 and sliding in reciprocation in the cylinder bore 11 formed in the housing 5 accompanied by the rotation of the swash plate 9. The swash plate 9 is coupled with the shaft 8 so as to be tiltable via a link pin 10. The portion of the link pin 10 pressure-fitted in a through hole 8c formed at the shaft 8 is set symmetrically with respect to the center in the axial direction of the through hole 8c.
