A swash plate 10 is operatively connected with a drive shaft 9 via a lag plate 11 and a hinge mechanism 12 and slidably moored to end of each piston 8 via a front and rear pair of shoes 15a, 15b. Rotation of the swash plate 10 associated with that of the drive shaft 9 is converted into reciprocating motion of a piston 8 via the shoes 15a, 15b. A containing part 17 is formed on the shoes 15a, 15b as sliding parts of this compressor C. The containing part 17 has an opening on a side facing the swash plate 10 and is formed such that it has a larger diameter on the opening side. Solid lubricant 18 is contained inside the containing part 17 such that it is maintained in a state contained in the containing part 17 by the containing part 17's reaching up to a predetermined temperature and that it flows out of the containing part 17 and attached to a sliding surface at the containing part 17's reaching up to the predetermined temperature. The solid lubricant 18 is contained such that it is positioned slightly inside the opening end of the containing part 17.
