Title:
COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005299543
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the suction resistance of a refrigerant caused when the refrigerant is sucked from a suction port having a suction valve fixed at a base end side to a cylinder bore.

The suction port 15 and a discharge port 16 are formed in the suction chamber 12 in which the refrigerant sucked from the cylinder bore 5 for reciprocatingly moving a piston 6 into the cylinder bore 5 is stored and a discharge chamber 13 in which the refrigerant discharged from the cylinder bore 5 is stored. The suction valve 17 opening/closing the suction port 15 is installed at the opening face 14a of the suction port 15 by fixing its base end side thereto, and a discharge valve 20 opening/closing the discharge port 16 is installed at the face of the discharge port 16 on which the discharge chamber 13 side is opened by fixing its base end side thereto.
