Abstract:

To suppress an increase in sliding toque and to suppress performance degradation.

The distal ends of the teeth 112, 122 of a pair of scrolls 11, 12 are formed with tip seal grooves 112a, 122a for mounting tip seals 16, 17, and the pair of scrolls 11, 12 is formed with sliding surfaces 111a, 121a with the tip seals 16, 17 closely slid. A dimensional relationship among a distance D1 between the sliding surfaces 121a, 111a on a spiral center side and the bottom surfaces of the tip seal grooves 112a, 122a, thickness h1 of the tip seals on the spiral center side, a distance D2 between the sliding surfaces 121a, 111a on a spiral peripheral side and the bottom surfaces of the tip seal grooves 112a, 122a, and thickness h2 of the tip seal on the spiral peripheral side, satisfies D1-h1<D2-h2.
