Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the shortage of a lubricant, in a compressor in which an electric motor and a compression mechanism arranged below the electric motor are accommodated in a casing.SOLUTION: A portion between a compression mechanism (60) and an electric motor (20) out of an internal space of a casing (11) constitutes a primary space (S1), and a portion at an upstream side of the electric motor (20) out of the internal space constitutes a secondary space (S2). The electric motor (20) is of a concentration winding type. A core cut (21f) which makes the primary space (S1) and the secondary space (S2) communicate with each other, and downwardly introduces a lubricant which is centrifugally separated from a refrigerant discharged to the secondary space (S2) is formed at an external peripheral part of a stator (21). A vertically-extending gas guide member (81) which is cylindrically formed and partitions the primary space (S1) into the radial inside and outside is arranged at a portion at the outer side in the radial direction than an internal peripheral face of the stator (21) in the primary space (S1), and at the inner side in the radiation direction than the core cut (21f).
