Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving tandem type compressor capable of reducing the number of component elements and its installation space, attaining low cost formation and preventing phenomenon of no rotation of motor under overload and the like.SOLUTION: Firstly, at the time of starting operation of a second motor, a bypassing circuit for returning compressed air to an intake side of a second compressor is installed before a discharging port of the second compressor to avoid overload under exceeding a critical back-pressure, secondly, closing of a suction valve causes a torque required for compression of air without increasing a pressure within the compressor and thirdly an arrangement of a valve for adjusting a feeding amount of lubricant so as to reduce an agitating resistance of lubricant applied to a screw in the compressor reduces a load applied to a motor at the time of starting operation as much as possible, and when the rotation reaches up to a stable region, operation inverse to the aforesaid first to third operations, i.e. closing of a bypass valve, opening of an intake valve, returning the lubricant feeding amount adjusting valve to its normal set to divide the lubricant at rated flow rate enable the two compressors to be started in sequence even with one receiver tank.
