Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor for attenuating the discharge noises and the pulsations of the gases which are individually discharged from a first compression chamber and a second compressor chamber.SOLUTION: A compressor comprises: a first compression chamber 51 and a second compression chamber 52 for compressing gases; a first muffler 15 disposed on the side of the discharge port 7B of the first compression chamber 51; a second muffler 16 disposed on the side of the discharge port 10B of the second compression chamber 52; and a communication passage 20 for causing the internal space 17 of the first muffler 15 and the internal space 18 of the second muffler 16 to communicate with each other. The internal space 17 of the first muffler 15 is divided into a first partition space 17A of the first muffler 17 and a second partition space 17B of the first muffler 17. The communication passage 20 includes: a first partition space 20A for providing the communications between the first partition space 17A, in which the discharge port 7A of the first compression chamber 51 opens, and the internal space 18 of the second muffler 16; and a second communication passage 20B for providing the communications between the second partition space 17B, in which the discharge port 15A formed in the first muffler 15 opens, and the internal space 18 of the second muffler 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
