PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor comprising a mechanism capable of reducing liquid compression.SOLUTION: A compressor 100 is provided with an on-off valve 30 provided in a low-pressure side refrigerant circulation path LL between an evaporator and an a suction chamber H1. The on-off valve 30 includes a valve chamber 31, a valve body 32 housed in the valve chamber 31, and a biasing member 33 for biasing the valve body 32 toward one end of the valve chamber 31. The valve body 32 has: a receiving face 321 with which a refrigerant flowing from one end of an evaporator side of the valve chamber 31 collides and which receive a dynamic pressure due to refrigerant flow; and a valve part 322 opposed to a valve chamber side opening of a valve hole L11 extending from the other end of the valve chamber 31 to the intake chamber H1 and communicating with the valve chamber 31 and the intake chamber H1. The on-off valve 30 is constituted so that an opening degree of the low-pressure side refrigerant circulation path LL becomes maximum by releasing a valve chamber side opening of the valve hole L11 when the refrigerant collides with the receiving face 321 in a gas phase, and an opening of the low-pressure side refrigerant circulation path LL becomes minimum when the refrigerant collides with the receiving face 321.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
