Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine which secures reliability of an oil seal and a bearing in high revolution and high load compressor operation.SOLUTION: A scroll type fluid machine includes: a fixed scroll; a revolving scroll which is provided facing the fixed scroll and has a boss part located on a surface opposite to a surface facing the fixed scroll; a driving shaft which is attached to the boss part at the tip side; a revolving bearing which supports the driving shaft on the revolving scroll; and a seal material which is provided between the boss part and the driving shaft and seals a lubricant supplied to the revolving bearing. The seal member includes an oil lip part which causes an action to move the lubricant toward the revolving bearing through rotation of the driving shaft. A communication passage, which allows a space formed between the revolving bearing and the seal member and a space formed at the exterior of the boss part to communicate with each other, is provided in the oil lip part.
