Abstract:
To provide a compressor to prevent the occurrence of excessive compression due to compression of a liquid refrigerant and reduce weight to improve mechanical efficiency.
A piston crown 23 on which a compression surface 31 to compress a refrigerant in a cylinder 7 is formed is mounted on the piston head 21 of a piston 20 movably in the direction of a central axis as energization is effected in a direction in which a refrigerant is compressed through the force of a coned disc spring 22. When the refrigerant is compressed at a compression pressure exceeding a given value, the elastic force of the coned disc spring 22 is set such that the piston crown 23 is moved in a reverse direction to a direction in which the refrigerant is compressed.
