PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a nurse by vertically fitting a computer housing on a chassis fitted on a base with a column so as to combine them.

CONSTITUTION: A cart has the base 10 formed by a center horizontal bar 11 and two outer horizontal bars 12. Movable vehicles 13 are provided for respective end parts. The base 10 is provided with the vertical column 15 which can be divided into a lower part and an upper part 17 that can freely be removed, and the chassis 20 is freely slidably fitted to the column. The chassis 20 has two main vertical faces 36 and 37 and a computer 40 is fitted on the pertinent face 37. The computer 40 has the thin and flat housing 43 and has a projecting display screen 44 and a keyboard 45 which is pivotally attached to the housing. The chassis 20 has a C-formed grasping bar 50 and it protects the computer 40. Then, the nurse can input data to the computer 40 and it can directly be communicated with the main central processing unit of a hospital computer.
