PURPOSE: To control a motor with excellent follow-up properties by providing an arithmetic means computing a control signal as the sum of a value obtained by multiplying the difference of the target speed of revolution and the actual speed of revolution by a constant, a value acquired by multiplying the actual speed of revolution by a second constant and offset voltage.
CONSTITUTION: A control section 14 conducts the computation and arithmetic processing of the control signal of a servo motor 10. The speed command clock of an output is transmitted over an edge detector 151 from the control-side micro-computer of a copier body, a rising edge is detected, and the content of a capture register 153 is updated by the rising edge of the speed command clock. The control section 14 acquires the difference of reading counting at this time and the previous time of the capture register 153, obtains an accurate reference clock, and outputs applied voltage from the difference of the actual number of revolution and the number of revolution of a speed command.
