Abstract:
PURPOSE:To uniform operating rates of computers in a system and to improve the throughput by monitoring operation states of the computers in the system by an operation state monitoring device at all times, and putting a computer having a large margin in charge of part of its processing in case of an overload. CONSTITUTION:If one of the computers 1-1-1-n enters an overload state, an inquiry about whether there is a computer which can be put in charge in the system or not is made. Then, the operation state monitoring device 3 reads the storage contents of a memory 31 in response to the inquiry to select a computer which has a margin of its operating rate and is not in data processing currently among other computers 1-1-1-n and transfers the identification code of the computer to the computer 1-1 which makes the request to depute. Then, the computer 1-1 transfers the request to depute to, for example, the computer 1-n which can be put in charge and transfers processing contents to be deputed to the computer 1-1 when an answer indicating acceptance is returned. Consequently, the computer 1-1 is released from the overload and the computer 1-n which is free so far enters an operation state.
